Had a nice birthday lunch here today. This is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in corpus. We got waited on very quickly and our server was very knowledgeable and quick.
We live in San Antonio and have been to that location so wanted to try this one. Food was fantastic! We tried many different things. Service was OK/Fine but not up to the level in San Antonio. Their spicy garlic edamame was slightly better though and probably the best we've had anywhere.
Service was a bit slow today even though there weren't a lot of people in the restaurant yet. The salmon had a slight fishy smell to it. Everything else was fine though. As the lunch progressed, there was a bit more traffic and the service became extremely slow.
Another 5 Star Experience at Umiya. This time there were 3.5 of us. Me, Wifey, My Mini Me and My Brother In-Law we all shared our food and had a beautiful experience with the taste, textures, and presentation. Service was once again top notch and they were very patient with our particular needs having an infant. From the high chair to us walking him all around the place. The ambience, food, staff, EVERYTHING on point. We will be back
The menu is so extensive and the quality is great. The price is such a bargain. The best feature is the service. Ameranda was the greatest with recommendations and service. $30 for all you can eat, a bargain at twice that price!
